Carlton L. Bryant Sr., 76 of Elberton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at his residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, on September 18, 1947, he was the son of the late William Burris Bryant and Nellie Louise Bryant. Carlton was a self-employed construction worker, he enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. He was a family man and loved making people laugh.
He is survived by his children: Carlton Lee Bryant Jr., Patricia Louise Willer, and Christopher R. Bryant; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 6 siblings.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Sylvia Joan Bowen; son-in-law: Robert J. Willer; and grandchildren: Larry Nathaniel Johnson and Micheal Eugene Taylor; and his wife: Betty Jean Hicks.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1pm to 2pm at the mortuary on Monday, July 1, 2024.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
