Carolyn Jane Hall Vickery July 26, 1939 - July 9, 2023

Carolyn Jane Hall Vickery, 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at her home.

Born on July 26, 1939, in Central SC, she was the daughter of the late Cemeloy and Julia Hall and the wife to the late Edward Vickery Sr. She attended Oakdale Baptist Church and Lighthouse Church of God.

She is survived by her sons: Edward Vickery and Randy Vickery (Sallie); daughters: Tracy Spearman (Mike) and Renee Hayes (Howard); sister: Judy Tippins; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a special friend: Clarence Young.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a son: Gary Vickery; brothers: Aro Wallace and Harvey Hall and sister: Ruth Mullinax.

A funeral service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2:30pm with Pastor Dwayne Peeples and Pastor David Blizzard officiating. A private burial will follow Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the South Chapel from 1pm to 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.

The family will be at the home of her son and daughter in law, Randy and Sallie Vickery.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
