Hazel Cox Massey, 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Born on January 11, 1926, in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late John Green and Harriet Alma Swift Cox and the widow of Ingram Owen Massey.
She is survived by her children: Darrell Massey (Jo), Brenda Hoops and Debra Geddings (Jimmie), 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The family wants to thank all her neighbors, the caregivers at NHC and Caring Hands for their great care.
The funeral service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 3pm officiated by Beryl Rosenberger and Dr. Philip Pidgeon. A private internment will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday at the South Chapel from 1:30pm to 3pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
