Carra Elizabeth Wright Smith, 71, passed away on April 30, 2015.
Born in Anderson, SC on August 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Wright and Kathleen Bridgeman Wright. Carra was a faithful member of the Freedom Center Church. She worked for Tri-County Technical College as an information Specialist for 12 years.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Johnny P. Smith; one daughter, Sherry Smith and her husband Glenn, of Anderson, SC; one granddaughter, Lauren Smith Burns, and her husband Jimmy, of Cherokee, NC.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2pm with Rev. Allan Rhodes officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Downtown Chapel from 1pm to 2pm.
The family will be at the residence.
