Minnie Lee Norris, 88, formerly of Anderson SC passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her residence with her loving family.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Corbin and Lillie Chaistain Dooley, and the spouse to the late John L. Norris. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed.
She is survived by sons: Thomas Norris (Barbara) of Anderson, SC, John W. Norris (Miriam) of Anderson, SC; daughters: Nell Boyd of Piney Flatts, TN, Mag Bowman (Ernie) of Johnson City, TN, and Ann Dempsey (Myrl) of Anderson, SC; 14 grandchildren, 30+ great-grandchildren, and 6+ great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she is predeceased by her sons: David Norris and Harry Norris.
Graveside services will be held at South Lawn Memorial Gardens at 11am on Monday, May 4, 2015.
Visitation will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 3pm to 4pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
