Chester Harris, 80, of Anderson, SC passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016.
Chester was the son of the late Claude and Eva Harris, and the husband of Shirley Harris. He was a loving father and grandfather and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters: Teresa Tomlinson and Pam Harbin (Ron); brothers: Earl and Ned Harris; sister: Jane Green; grandchildren: Adam (Michelle), Blake (Jessica), Haley (Brandon), Rebecca, and Morgan (Ace); and great-grandchildren: Ashlyn, Seth, Madison, Lacy, Alyssa, and Kinley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 7 brothers and 1 sister.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Sam Duncan. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 6:30pm – 8pm at the Mortuary. Burial will follow the service at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the home of Pam and Ron Harbin.
