Chris Taylor, 45, of Pendleton, SC, passed away on Saturday September 10, 2022.

Born on January 25, 1977, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Billy and Kathy Taylor and husband to Katie Massey Taylor. Chris was also the owner and operator of Palmetto Pawn in Homeland Park, SC.

In addition to his loving wife, Katie, he is survived by his Children: Peyton, Brady, and Arden Taylor; Sister: Bonnie Olinski (Garo); Brother: Joey Taylor; Nieces and Nephews: Tara, Justin, Jody, Greg, Cody, Billy, Jake, Josie, Garrett, Wiley, and Grace; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Dr. Courtney Krueger.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at the mortuary.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Not the usual Business owner. Made Everyone fell Welcomed,. Treated all with Respect and was Fair to all, “and ” always added a dash if humor.
Great , great individual. Too early to depart,,,,,, he will be with us in our Hearts and Memories. .

I’ve known u since we was about 5 and as time went by even if it was yrs in between we was always friends.like we never skipped a day.And it was a great privilege to know you all them years and to be able to tell everyone that u was one of my close friends.I seen u the day before and I never thought it would be the last .I hope u gave Katie that ring I brought u to give to her.nothing special but it was something she would like..I’m so sorry u was taken from your family and your friends so early.it breaks my heart but I know that there is a special place for u in heaven.R.I.P CHRIS
