Clyde Walter Parnell “Waldo”, 65, of Iva SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his home.
Born in Anderson, SC, on June 14, 1957, he was the son of the late John M. Parnell and Opal W. Burton. Waldo was an iron worker/crane operator by trade and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter: Zoiee Parnell; daughter at heart: Tina Price (Johnny); brother: Richard L. Parnell; sister: Sarah Burdette (Jerry); grandchildren at heart: Jalynn Price and Shawn Price (Nicole McFry); great-grandchildren at heart: Charlie Price and Kaiden Monnier; as well as many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother: John Parnell.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel from 11am to 1pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
