Daniel J. Mullins, 72, of Anderson SC, passed away at his home on Friday, May 9, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Clintwood, VA, on May 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Albert and Hazel Mullins; the husband to the late Mae Mullins and a Veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his brothers Verlon Mullins (Lisa), Lester Mullins (Shirlene) and Clyde Mullins (Jessica); sisters: Betty Branham, JoAnne McPeek (David), Faye Sykes (Gary), Mollie Mae Skeens, and Evelyn Phipps; step-daughter: Peggy Coker, a grandson: Robbie Gibson and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his brothers: Sterling and Charles Mullins.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 12pm with Rev. Lester Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Military Rites.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Thursday, from 11am to 12pm.
