Daniel Stephen McAlister, 65, of Anderson SC, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born on April 24, 1958, in Anderson SC, the son of the late Earl McAlister and Janice Vassar; he was a Pro Golfer, a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple and worked for 10.5 years with Anderson City.
He is survived by his wife: Melonie McAlister; furbaby: Nugget; daughter at heart: Abi Timms; sons: Adams McAlister and Nolan McAlister; sisters: Allyson Morris (Tom), Cissy Fleming (Paul), Billie Jan White (Nelson) and Jenifer Beatty; and his in-laws: Scott and Bobby Hall.
A celebration of life will be held at 3pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Gethsemane Baptist Temple with Pastor Sam Duncan officiating.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
