Glendell Capps February 4, 1947 - February 22, 2024

Glendell G. Capps, 77, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday February 22, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born on February 4, 1947, in Iva, SC, she was the daughter of the late William J. Wilson and Etrulia Lewis, she was the wife of the late Bud Capps. Glendall was a loving mother and grandmother; she was of Holiness Faith. She also worked as a housekeeper for Brookdale Senior Living.

She is survived by her sons: Chuck Capps, Frank Capps (Tracy), and Stacy Capps; daughters: Rita Capps and Gail Capps; brother: Joey Wilson (Tammy); sister: Tammy Harrer; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son: Little Bud Capps, daughter: Sue Capps; and sister: Brenda Gallipeau.

The funeral will be held at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 3pm officiated by Pastor Adam Selman with a private burial to follow.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the mortuary on Monday from 2pm – 3pm.

The family will be at their respective homes.
