Danny W. McClain, 63, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday April 5, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born on June 11, 1950 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Georgia Thomas McClain and was the husband to Rebecca “Becky” Chandler McClain.
Danny was retired from Owens Corning after 37 years, Pass Master of Hiram Masonic Lodge #68, a member of Anderson 130 Order of the Eastern Star, Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 215, a member of Blue Ridge Council Order of the Arrow, as well as an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters; Dana Wright and Shellie Crocker, Sister; Sue McClain and Grandchildren; Ariel, Madelyn and Ethan Wright and Isabella and Penelope Crocker.
Danny will receive Masonic Services at 3p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1p.m. to 3p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.
The family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
