Gracie-Mae Dyar Todd, of 510 George Albert Lake Rd, Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born on February 5, 1931 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Henry Dyar and Hattie Snowdell Porter Dyar and wife to the late Julian Samuel Todd. Gracie retired from the Anderson Hospital after 34 years in Labor and Deliver and attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple when she was able.
She is survived by her sons; Stephen Michael Todd (Johnnie), David Randall Todd (Carolyn) and Jeffery Brian Todd (Kelly), Sister; Hilda Ginn (Carl Robert), as well as five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son; Allen Bradley Todd and brothers; Paul Henry Dyar Jr. and Olin Franklin Dyar.
Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at the Gethsemane Baptist Temple and will be officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan and Mike Harrell with burial to follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
