David Dorn, 75, of Greer, SC passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
Born on August 2, 1943 in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ruth Dorn and husband of 54 years to Dorothy Dorn. He was a veteran of the United States Army, Special Forces.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Davina Dye (Jeff), David Dorn, Jr (Robyn), Destene Barron (Brian), Denae Beckett (Matt), and Devon Dorn (Sara); sisters, Marilyn Coyle and Carolyn Brown; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Monday, August 5, 2019 at North Hills Church 4952 Edwards Road Taylors, SC 29687 and will be officiated by Peter Hubbard. Private burial will take place at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service.
