Inez Nichols Gambrell, 85, of Honea Path, SC passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born on August 3, 1933 in Pelzer, SC she was the daughter of the late James Ernest Nichols and the wife to the late George Allen Gambrell. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and retired from Tarringtan Company as a parts inspector.
She is survived by her children: Paul Allen Gambrell (Terri) and Gail Gambrell Mitchell (Mike); brothers: Billy Nichols (Linda) and Ruth Page; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Chiquola Baptist Church, Honea Path, SC and will be officiated by Pastor Ronnie Powell in addition to her son and two grandsons. Private burial will follow.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1pm – 3pm at the church.
The family will be at the residence.
The family requests that memorials be made to Chiquola Baptist Church Building Fund or Student Ministry, 405 E Greer Street Honea Path, SC 29654.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
