Deborah Gale Brown July 7, 1954 - July 20, 2024

Deborah “Debbie” Gale Brown, 70, of Anderson, SC passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, SC on July 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late George Alfred Brown and Mary Frances Brown. Debbie worked for Abney Mills; she was a loving mother who loved her football games and watching NASCAR. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved very much.

She is survived by her sons: Bruce Kevin Brown (Sherri) and Shannon Dale Ashworth (Jessica); daughter: Wendy Diane Sisk; sister: Cathy Diane Brown; grandchildren: Kelsey Miranda Smith, Jared Douglas Smith, Caleigh Delana Finley, Ashlyn Shyann Ashworth, Christopher Knox, Eli Trace Ashworth: Jayden Allen Smith, and Zayden Christopher Pressley; step-grandchildren: Teegan Nyx Withers and Tyson Wyatt Withers; great-grandchildren: Jaylin Miranda Smith and Sumter Lane Cothran; nieces: Denise Carter Erwin, Crystal Hudson, and Kandice Michelle Brown; nephews: Dennis Mattison, Joshua Davis, Keith Howell, Brian McCrider, Paul McCrider, Anthony Seagraves, Brayden Hudgens, and Michael Wayne Brown Jr.; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons: Christopher Mark Ashworth and Terry Bruce Brown Jr.; brothers: George Randall Brown and Michael Wayne Brown; and sister: Brenda Jean Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Friday August 2, 2024, at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1pm to 3pm on Friday August 2, 2024, at the mortuary.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
