Debra Lola Hightower, 65, of Starr, SC passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
Born on September 4, 1953 in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late George and Martha Haynie. She will be remembered for loving her flowers and her animals.
She is survived by her lifelong partner: Terry Garnett; son: Herman Eugene Hightower; daughter: Elizabeth Maybell Simpson; daughter at heart: Elizabeth “Jasmine” McCardle; 1 granddaughter; 2 grandsons; 3 grandchildren at heart; and her loving pets: Max and Sassy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at her home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Anderson County PAWS 1320 Hwy 29 S Anderson, SC 29626.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
