Doris “Red” Smith, 58, of Anderson SC passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Willie Smith Bridges, the spouse to Floyd Smith, she was a dedicated homemaker and took care of her loving puppies.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Shane Smith (Ashley Strickland), and sister: Ruby Bridges.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will take place on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 1pm at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Brother Johnny Vickery.
Visitation will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm.
The family will be at the residence.
