Douglas King, 73, of Liberty, SC passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born on January 3, 1946 in New York, he was the son of the late Francis and Betty King and was honorably discharged from the US Navy.
He is survived by his sons: Douglas F. King and Douglas L. King II; stepdaughter: Tina Jackson; 3 sisters; 16 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 4 brothers.
A memorial service will be held at the Greenville Moose Lodge on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 1pm – 3pm. A private internment will take place at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
