Fred Larry Maroney of Starr, SC, passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at the Richard Campbell Nursing Home in Anderson, SC.
Born in Townville, SC, he was the son of the late Fred Maroney and Helen Sexton and husband of over 55 years to Veda Maroney. Mr. Maroney was also a Veteran of the US Air Force.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his sons; Larry Maroney Jr and wife Laranda, Scott Maroney and wife Joy and Kenny Maroney, daughters; Lisa Wiles and husband Monty, as well as 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Monday August 4, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel officiated by Rev. Greg Moon. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
