Gail Davis Middleton, 82, of Williamston, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at her home.
Born in Belton SC, on April 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Helen Shaw Addis and the stepdaughter to the late Lewis William Addis. Gail was a faithful Christian whose love for the Lord guided every aspect of her life. She was a devoted member of her church for over 46 years. She was known for her gentle spirit, caring heart and steadfast faith,
She is survived by her brothers: Henry Addis and Lewis William Addis Jr; nieces and nephews: Pamela Moffett, Lisa Davis, Preston Davis, Alvin Davis, and William Addis; a sister-in-law: Becky Addis and her best friend and Pastor, Dale Duckett.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, she was twice widowed, first to the late Jimmy Davis then to the late James Middleton as well as her sisters: Cathy Shaw Fowler and Sylvia Addis Davis.
A funeral service will be held at her church, Barnette Grove Independent Baptist Church on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2pm with Pastor Dale Duckett officiating. A private burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 12pm to 2pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials can be given to a charity of one’s choice.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
