James C. Lloyd III “Jim,” 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Born on March 25, 1955, in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late James C. Lloyd II and Dorothy Helen Lloyd. Jim loved auctions, antiquing and collecting old toys. He enjoyed cooking and feeding his friends and family, as well as trips to the beach and being on the go.
Jim is survived by his Long Time Girlfriend: Susan Rumsey; Children: Angie Lewis, Nikki Lloyd, and Casey Lloyd; Step-Mother: Pam Lloyd; Sister: Leigh Danko; Grandchildren: Dallas and Phoenix, of the home, Cheyenne, Dakota, Hannah, Noah, Griffin, and Marissa; as well as one great-grandchild and multiple nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Brother: Steve Lloyd.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
