Gary Peters, 69, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Ohio on September 28, 1954, he was the son of the late George and Wanda Kujawinski Peters.
Gary was an avid sportsman who often was seen with a rod and reel in his hand. He was a champion fisherman and a member of F.L.W. (Bassmasters). Gary was a proud Christian, saved by God’s amazing grace. He had a good heart and was a loving, dedicated family man, who enjoyed good food.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathryn Fyffe Peters; children: Amanda Duvall (Richie), Chad Paetznick, and Jennifer Peters; grandchildren: Ethan Schroll (Vanessa), Evan Schroll, Brandon Paetznick, and Justin Paetznick.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by one brother.
Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11am at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
The family will be at their respective homes.
