Walter James “Rambo” Hammond, 65, of Anderson SC, formally of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born on May 28, 1958, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Tonnie Carolyn Hammond and Walter James Hammond Sr. Rambo was a loving, hardworking, kind man and loved his family very much.
He is survived by his daughters: Jennifer Hammond and Jessica Hammond; his girlfriend: Martha Broome and her children: Michael Broome and Rebecca Harold; brother: Michael Hammond “Mikey”; sister: Molly Felker; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister: Kathy Brown and his daughter: Christy Marie Hammond.
Visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
