George Dean Davis “Nordy”, 88, of Belton, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
Born in Anderson SC, on October 30, 1934, he was the son of the late Jessie Wade Davis and Ruth Cain Davis. He was a Veteran of the US Army and the husband to the late Mary Ann King Davis.
He is survived by his sisters: Nancy Johnston (Gary) and Betty Jean Yarbrough.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his sisters: Eleanor Davis and Mildred Moore and his brother-in-law: Ray Yarbrough.
A graveside service will be held at Garden of Memories in Belton, SC, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11am with Military Rites.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Belton Second Baptist Church or a church of your choice.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
