George Wayne Patterson, son of Wayne Patterson (father) and Bertha O’Bryant Patterson, passed from this world on Saturday, Dec. 7 2024, to be with his savior at Upstate Hospice Hospital of Anderson, S.C.
He was married to Rose Ella Crensham. He leaves behind four sons, Jerry Patterson of Seneca, Phillip Patterson of Westminster, S.C., Allen Patterson of Seneca and Graham Sorrells of Six Mile, S.C.
He has two living sisters, Nancy Alexander of Pendleton and Rose Little of Pendleton. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Patterson; and 13 brothers and sisters.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
