Shawn Vincent Petty, 50, of Starr, SC, passed away on Saturday December 7, 2024.
Born on May 27, 1974, in Jacksonville, NC, he was the son of Glenda Richards and the late Gerald Petty.
Shawn is survived by his Son: Michael “Mikey” Petty; Life Partner of 20 years; Brook Jonas; Sisters: Tracy Smith (Herbert Smith), Angela Slaton (Nicky Blackmon), Tammy Cottingham, Kathy Petty, and Dawn English (Keith English); and Granddaughter: Nevaeh Nichole Glenn.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday December 14, 2024, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm, prior to the service, Saturday at the Mortuary.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
