Gladys Louise Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away
peacefully on September 17, 2026, at the age of 93.
Gladys was born on May 30, 1933, in Honea Path, South Carolina, and was raised in Belton. In
1952, she married the love of her life, Gordon Davis. Together, they shared many wonderful
years as an Air Force family, traveling and making memories wherever their journey took them.
Eventually, Gladys and Gordon retired in South Carolina, where they enjoyed their later years
together.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Davis.
She is survived by her sons, Gordon Davis Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa, and Reggie Davis of
Gulfport, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Morgan Davis, Zachary Davis, Addie Davis, Lindsey
Triplett, Jason Davis, and Rachel Ellefson; and five great-grandchildren.
Gladys will be remembered for her devotion to her family and for the many years of love,
memories, and experiences she shared with those closest to her. Her life was marked by family,
faithfulness, and a willingness to embrace the adventures that came with being an Air Force
family.
In her later years, Gladys was a resident of Morningside of Anderson, where she was cared for
and surrounded by those who brought comfort and companionship to her life.
She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and
lovingly remembered.
