Harold T Smith, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born on January 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Robert Joe and Pearl Cleveland Smith and the husband to Joyce Smith, for over 62 years. Harold was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after 38 and a half years and was a Mason, Shriner and avid Clemson fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Brad Smith, Janet S Lee and her husband Roger and Cas Smith and his wife Leanne, Grandchildren: Sheridan Ash and her husband Joel, Patrick Moorhead and his wife Lyndsey and Bradley Jasmine Smith; Great-grandchildren: Brady, Broc and Berit Smith, Corbin and Jackson Ash, Sophia and Lyla Jean Moorhead, Trinity, Isaiah, and Malachi Peterson and Elijah Sabir; Special Niece: Jennie McAlister and several other nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his Sisters: Clara Reid, Virginia Smith and Jeanette McClain; and Nephews: Bobby and Gerald Edison.
A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the New Prospect Baptist Church and will be officiated by Rev. Curtis Edison. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
The family will be at the home.
