Johnny R. Jones, 55, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Jewerell Spake Skelton and the late Melvin Freddie Jones. He was married to Carol Jones. Johnny served in the Marine Corps and was an employee of BASF.
In addition to his mother and his wife; he is also survived by sons: Jeremy R. Jones (Jamie) and Joey Jones (Audra); brothers: Randy D. Jones (Dianna), Dennis Lee Jones (Donna), Dwight Greene, and Chuck Greene; and grandchildren Bryce, Justice, and Barnes.
In addition to his father, he is also predeceased by a brother Barry Jones.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 3pm officiated by Rev. Vernon Soles at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel. Private burial will follow.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the Mortuary on Wednesday prior to the service from 1pm – 3pm.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
