Hazel B Gilreath, 84, of Starr, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her home.
She was born to the late Judge Leland and Willie Mae Cross Pruitt. She was a member of Middleton Road Baptist Church and retired after 42 years from True Temper Plant.
She was survived by her children: Mike (Jane) Moore of Abbeville, SC and Debbie Sanders of Anderson, SC; brothers and sisters: Bob (Jean) Pruitt, Ray (Shirley) Pruitt, Barbara (Allen) McAlister, Carolyn (Don) Simpson, and Ruby Nell Pruitt; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands James Harmon Moore Jr. and Clyde L Gilreath, Jr., and 1 brother Mid Pruitt and 5 sisters Louise Edmonds, Jeannette Edmonds, Gladell Ledford, Virginia Elrod and Sarah Pruitt.
Graveside services will be held at South Lawn Memorial Gardens in Starr SC on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2 pm officiated by Rev. Butch Moore.
The family will be at the home and ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621.
