Shelby Ann Erwin, 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her son’s residence.
Born in Anderson, SC on December 12, 1946; she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Viola Davis Taylor and married to the late Doug Erwin. She was a member of Iva First Assembly of God and a homemaker.
She is survived by her children: Tony Griffin, Wayne Griffin (Nettie), Carolyn Sanders (Scott), and Teresa Payton (Tommy); 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse; she is also predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 grandchild.
Services will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3pm at Sosebee Mortuary, Iva Chapel, officiated by Pastor Charles Howell. A private burial will follow.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday from 1pm – 3pm at the Mortuary.
The family will be at the home of her son at 161 Old Dirt Road, Anderson, SC.
