Helen F. Heaton, 93, of Anderson SC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 22, 2024.
Born on August 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Thelma Fowler and the wife to the late Wattie V. Heaton. She was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her children: Robert “Freddy” Heaton (Glenda), Mark Heaton (Dianne) and Delores H. Stickland (Mark); sisters: Brenda Rasmussen and Verde Brady; daughter-in-law: Patsy Heaton; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son: Larry Heaton and her siblings: JoAnne, W.H., Kenneth and Ricky.
A funeral service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 2pm with Pastor Russell Clark and Pastor Joe Whisnant officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 1pm to 2pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
