J.W. Davis, 71, of 109 Roof Road Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on February 5, 1949, he was the son of the late J.C. Davis and Mildred Chambers Davis, a well driller and attended of South Pointe Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Angela Bennett Davis; sons: Brandon Davis, Michael Davis and George Robert Driver; daughters: Tonya Sanders and Jessica L. Davis; brother: Buddy Davis; sisters: Carolyn “Red” Davis, Betty Murphy, Nellie Davis and Della Machen; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sons: Shannon Spearman and Jamie Sanford and a sister: Violet Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Monday, February 17, 2020 at South Pointe Baptist Church.
The family will be at the residence.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
