James Robert Trotter, 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away at his home on Saturday October 5, 2024, after a long and difficult battle with his health.
Born on November 1, 1949, in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Dewitt Talmadge Trotter and Bertha Ola Trotter. James was a Commercial Electrical Superintendent and Veteran of the US Air Force. After he retired, he transitioned into being a full-time Papa, especially for his Grandson, Colton, who was his heart and best friend.
He is survived by his Wife: Joy Trotter; Son: Corey Justin Trotter (Rebecca); Daughters: Sonya Trotter Mosley and Emma Rebecca Grace Trotter; Brothers: Albert Trotter (Cecil) and Kenneth Trotter; Sister: Bonnie Driver; Grandchildren: Colton James Waymon Trotter, Raela Hazel Grace Wilson, Noah Trotter, Ali Rickard, and Charlie Trotter; Nephews: Matthew, Austin Trotter, and Shane Trotter; and Nieces: Nicole Melancon and Michelle Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Brother: Harold Wilson; and Grandparents: James Oliver Snider, Vera H. Snider; Robert Trotter and Ella Trotter.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday October 15, 2024 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
