Janice Avadeen Ash, 84, of Anderson, SC passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Born in Union, SC on June 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Frank Wilson Black and Mildred (Marie) Medford Black, she was the wife of the late Pastor Martin Roy Ash. Janice was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church; she worked as a beautician. She was a loving mother and sold flowers in her shop at the jockey lot.
She is survived by her children: Dwight Ash (Ivy), Roy Ash (Kim), and Daniel Ash; brother: Steve Black; 7 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother: Earl Black
Funeral services will be at 3pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel officiated by Pastor Bill Rigsby.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2pm to 3pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
