Janice Brooks Vassar, 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2014.
She was a member of Garner Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son: Danny McAlister; Daughters: Allyson Morris (Tom), Cissy Fleming (Paul), Billie Jan White (Nelson) and Jenefer Beatty (David); sister: Carol Powell; as well as 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son: Jimmy McAlister.
A memorial service will be held 7p.m. on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel, will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
