Jerry Leroy Grant “Reese”, 63, of Honea Path, SC went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born on November 18, 1956 in Anderson, SC he was the son of Blanche Grant and the late Hubert Leroy Grant and was the husband to Angela Grant. He was a member of New Hope Baptist in Due West, SC, an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He formerly worked for Oconee Nuclear Station where he considered everyone there his family.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his children: Gabriel Walker (Leslie), Austin Grant (Emily), and Morgan Grant (Amanda); sisters: Jackie B. Shearer (Steve) of Easley, SC, Judy Grant of Honea Path, SC and Jan Gullett (Donnie) of Tuscumbia, AL; and grandchildren: Kaleigh and Isaac.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother: Jimmy Grant.
Due to COVID-19 private services will be held.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
