Randy Dane Childress, 70, of Anderson, SC and formerly of Kannapolis, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his home.
Born on January 14, 1950 in Cabarrus County, NC he was the son of the late Raymond and Evelyn Childress. Randy was formerly employed with Cone Industry in NC and was a member of Freedom Center.
He is survived by his son: Brandon Childress; brother: Lanny Childress; sister: Vickie Hawks; grandchildren: Luke Alexander Childress and Kinley Childress; nieces: Micalana Rhody, Miranda Childress, Julia Childress, and Angel Bell; and nephews: Christopher Hawks, Lanny Childress Jr, Jason Childress, and Adam Childress.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother: Oren Childress.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
