Jimmy McVay McCoy March 25, 1936 - October 28, 2023

Jimmy McVay McCoy, 87, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2023, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 25, 1936, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Max McCoy and Clara Shaw McCoy, he was the husband of Mary McCoy, he was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Easley, SC.

He is survived by his sons: Mark McCoy (Susan) and Tim McCoy; daughter: Kim Yarbrough (Curtis); 3 stepchildren; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and his 2 beloved canine companions.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister: Maxine Holland.

A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Sunday November 5, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 2609 Hwy 29, Anderson, SC.

The family will be at their respective homes.
