JoAnn McNair Bowen, 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born on January 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late B.S. and Sarah McNair. She was the wife to the late Larry Thomas Bowen.
She is survived by her son, Larry Blant Bowen; daughter, Dana Bowen Aman (Edward Jackson Aman); sister, Jean McNair Stafford; grandchildren: Lisa Bowen Winstead, Tawny Burton, Maggie Burton, Lindsey Aman, Ashley Aman, and Jackson Aman; and a great-granddaughter, Sarah Grace Winstead.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she is predeceased by a sister, Maxcine McNair Edwards and a daughter-in-law, Ren Bowen.
Funeral services will be at Sosebee Mortuary Iva Chapel on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 3pm with Rev. Terry Allen officiating. A private burial will be held.
Visitation will be held at the Iva Chapel prior to the service on Monday, from 1pm to 3pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary Iva Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
