Joe Wayne Kelly Sr, 88, of Anderson, SC passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Elisha and Elsie Kelly, and the husband to Cynthia Kelly. He served in the US Army and was a masonry contractor for over 40 years where he contracted worked in Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia, and Charleston counties.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Steven Lee Kelly, Joe Wayne Kelly Jr, and Sonya Starr Kelly; granddaughter raised in the home: Savannah Cole Brown; sister: Carolyn Howell; and grandchildren: Elisha Colt McGee and Gracelyn Lee Anna Kelly.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons: Danny Wayne Kelly, Ronnie Dale Kelly; daughter: Resa Morris; and sisters: Valera Gambrell and Harvlene McClellan.
At the request of Mr. Kelly, no services will be held.
The family would like to thank the staff at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home for the wonderful care that they gave Mr. Kelly.
