Johnny Lafayette Cantrell, 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his home.
Born on January 9, 1950, in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late Frank Cantrell and Edna Pauline Holden, he was a disabled Veteran, a recipient of the Purple Heart and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his son: Christopher Cash Cantrell; daughter: Amy Miranda Cantrell Brown; brothers: Steve Cantrell, Tommy Cantrell, David Cantrell, Billy Holden, and Mike Holden; grandchildren: Jarrett Cantrell, Travis Rochester, Jaelynn Cleveland, Braydien Cantrell, and Alexander Cantrell; and great grandchildren: Serenity Shay, Brent Lee, and Tyson.
He was predeceased by his son: Johnny Shayne Cantrell; daughter: Lacey Lynn Cantrell; and brother: Kenneth Cantrell.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
