Karen Lynn Smith, 59, of Starr SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her home.
Born on September 25, 1965, she was the daughter of the late William Daniel Warwick and Judy Lee Childs and the wife to the late Robert “Red” Gaines. Karen loved and was loved by everyone she touched in life; she will be missed.
She is survived by a daughter: Brandi Lee Smith; brother: Jim Childs of Georgia; sisters: Wanda Sanders, Mary Ann Bone and Susan Rameriz all of Georgia; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to her husband, and parents; she is predeceased by a son: Jordan Nicholas Bell.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
