Katherine Pearl “Kay” Nichols, 72, of Starr, SC passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Hospice of the Upstate.
She was born on July 12, 1943 in Bayard, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Carl E. Williams Sr and the late Nelda R. Williams. She was the wife to Allen R. Nichols and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons: Robert “Mike” Gough and his wife Karen, and Paul O. Gough; daughters: Michelle Geary and her husband Kevin, Tina Estep and her husband Joe and Debbie Nichols; sisters: Alma Rawlings and Shirley Gregory; grandchildren: Cheryl Gough, Jessie Beasley, Samantha Henderson, Kristian Dean, James Dean, Corey Geary, Dylan Click, Jarrett Estep, and Alissa Nelson; great-grandchildren: Gabriella Henderson, Lexi Dean, Jayden Dean, Justina Dean and Anthony Click.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 12:30pm with Rev. Phil Stout, Rev. Sam Duncan and Rev. George Donigian officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11am to 12:30pm at the Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Battered Women’s Shelter, and/or Hospice of the Upstate.
