Kathleen Brown, 81, of Belton, SC, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
Born in Fair Play, SC on June 9, 1938; she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lela Reece Standard. She was a member of Cross Hill Church of God and worked as a seamstress all her life.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, 8 months, and 13 days, Frank Brown; son, Wayne Brown (Lynn); daughter, Kathy Craft (Scott); brother, Bill Standard; sisters: Dollie Mae Garner, Margie McCoy, Betty McGee, and Frances Whitfield; grandsons: Brandon, Ryan, and Tyler Craft, Lee, Timothy, and Christopher Brown; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; she is also predeceased by daughters: Karen and Sharon Brown; brothers: Bud and Doc Standard; and sisters: Mae Hall and Beatrice Minor.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 3pm, officiated by Pastor Larry Richardson and Brother John Christmas, at Cross Hill Church of God. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home and will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday at the church from 2pm -3pm.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
