Kenneth Eugene Royster, 83, of Anderson SC, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on August 7, 1938, in Townville SC, he was the son of the late Horace and Ruby Lee Royster and the husband to the late Norma Jean Royster.

Ken lived his life in Anderson County, growing up on a farm in Townville SC, he enjoyed working with various automobiles.

He is survived by his grandchildren: Tricia Lynn Bryant (Herman), Brian Price (Liz), Gabriel Eugene Royster, Joseph Welborn (Kristi), John Welborn, Steven Price, Ryan Price (Briana), Adrianna Price and Jody Taylor (Andi); 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his children: Ronnie Michael Price, Debra Lynn Welborn (Jimmy) and Ronald Eugene Royster; and a brother: Richard Royster.

A funeral service will be held at 11am at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday, February 26, 2022. A private internment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 10am to 11am.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The family would like to thank Billy and Stephanie Hayes for their special care given during this time.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
