Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on November 12, 1956, he was the son of the late Jessie Lee McConnell.He is lovingly survived by his wife, Sheila Holloway; son, Larry Holloway Jr. and daughter, Kimberly Holloway; He is also survived by his brothers Ray McConnell and Gary McConnell as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.
Larry was a hard worker who enjoyed working with people and was well-liked by his peers. He dedicated his career to working in Retail Management and Customer Service. He was also a veteran who served in the Air Force as a Flight Refueling Specialist.
Larry was a member of Restoration House church in Anderson, SC.
Larry enjoyed fishing with friends and family as well a spending time outdoors doing yard work and other projects. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him including the family pet, Peanut.
An honor guard service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday October 13, 2025 in the open air pavilion at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor David Hudgens.
Following the service, the family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
