Steven Edwin Campbell, 73, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025.
He is lovingly survived by his sons, Chris Campbell (Jennifer) and Dustin Campbell (Stephanie); grandchildren, Bobbie Pearson (Brandon) and Nicholas Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Zoie and Beckett Pearson. He is also survived by his sister, Sherry Hall, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his son, Chase Campbell; his brother, Rick Campbell; and his parents, Randolph and Irene Wilson.
Steve dedicated most of his career to working as a lineman and later retired from Sumter Utilities as Safety Director. He took great pride in his work and in ensuring the safety of others.
In addition to his strong work ethic and love for friends and family, Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am at Sosebee Mortuary, Tuesday September 16, 2025, with a graveside service to follow at 11:30am at New Silverbrook Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mike Hawkins.
