Laura Jean Fountain Jordan “Nanny”, 79, of Anderson, widower of Albert Thomas Jordan, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Nellie Pearl Fountain. Mrs. Jordan is survived by brothers: Willis Fountain and Marvin Fountain; sister: Selma Whitfield (Sammy); Children: Mitchell Jordan (Sheila), Linda Jordan Franks (William W. Martin), Roger Jordan, Debbie Jordan and Ralph Jordan; children-at-heart: Preston Franks, Cory Franks (Mariah) and Tommy Harrison; granddaughters: Jennifer Lindsley (Eric), Amanda Harrison (Jeffrey), and Sierra; grandsons: Shannon McCullough (Laura), Justin, Cody and RJ; great grandchildren: Abbi, Anna, Brody, Carter, Mason, Bella, Raeleigh, Thomas, Isaac, Tia, and Neveah.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 19th at 4:00pm at Macedonia Baptist Church in Williamston, SC.
She will be truly missed; her life was her family, and she was the glue that held them all together. The family appreciates your support and prayers during this time.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
